Laboratory Medicine in Norrbotten is looking for new employees for Gällivare, Kalix, Kiruna, and Piteå hospitals.
We are a regional clinic that collaborates between departments to achieve our goal of providing the best possible service to our customers.
We are looking for
We are looking for you who are a licensed biomedical analyst. You have a valid license and a solid theoretical and practical foundation in laboratory medicine. You are confident in your professional role and have a meticulous working method that contributes to high quality in the analysis work. Previous experience of working in a clinical laboratory is an advantage. If you have worked in clinical chemistry and are accustomed to handling advanced laboratory equipment and IT systems, we see this as a plus.
We place great importance on your personal competencies. As a person, you are stable and can maintain calm even in pressured situations. You have good collaboration skills and enjoy working in a team where you contribute to a positive work environment. You are service-oriented with a professional approach towards both patients and colleagues. Additionally, you are flexible and can easily adapt to changing conditions and new tasks.
What you will work with
The smaller lab offers you the opportunity to see the whole picture within the world of laboratory diagnostics. We work with rotation and the entire workplace constitutes a team, which gives you as a biomedical analyst a fun, varied, and interesting job. You will work with analyses in clinical chemistry, coagulation, hematology, PCR technology, and handling blood cultures. In transfusion medicine, you will work with serological examinations, blood grouping, and taking care of blood donors. In other words, you will gain broad competence in the entire field of laboratory medicine. We have a close collaboration with the hospital's receptions/departments and, of course, with all lab specialties at Laboratory Medicine, Sunderby Hospital.
